CAPITOL UNIVERSITY, Autonomous University

CHED Memo 12,s 2019 contained the announcement that CAPITOL UNIVERSITY  was granted Autonomous status effective June 2019 until May 2021.  Region 10 has only two identified Autonomous HEIs.

Autonomous status signifies a recognition of our efforts to consistently adhere to high standards of instruction, research and community engagement.   Atty. Casimiro B Juarez, Jr, CU President said, It is a testament to the dedication, commitment and hard work of all the sectors of this academic community, working as one to attain our Vision, Mission and Objectives.

There are benefits and responsibilities as autonomous university.  However, it is the honor, the prestige and recognition that is important  for us.

We are very happy to receive this recognition and are grateful to God and to one another in the CU community.  More importantly, let’s show that we deserve the honor through our actions befitting our status: students who learn how to learn, faculty who teach how to learn and supportive staff who support the learning atmosphere.

To God be the glory!
