As mandated by the National Government, the Office of Student Affairs and Services and National Service Training Program of Capitol University conducted the 2nd and last leg of Public Orientation/Awareness on Anti Bullying, Gender and Development and Magna Carta for Persons with Disabilities last January 26, 2019 at the CU Gym.

The public orientation was well received by the participants who were composed of student leaders, working scholars, NSTP students, non-teaching personnel and basic education teachers from Capitol University Basic Education Department (CUBED).

Notable resource speakers such as Dr. Rebecca P. Postrano, a licensed teacher and guidance counselor and at the same time the regional education supervisor of DepEd Region X and CU’s very own Gender and Development Coordinator and CUREXO Research Associate, Prof. Rhea Rose Cagas, led the whole day with discussions on the dynamics of bullying and salient features of gender and development and magna carta for persons with disabilities.
