Capitol University’s College of Computer Studies(CCS) is a proud recipient of the support of PUM Netherlands Senior Expert Ben Scheltens. The partnership of CCS with PUM started last October 2016 when Capitol University, PUM and Syntactics, Inc. signed the Cooperation Agreement for Project 2786. The partnership brought the College two(2) Ultimaker 2+ 3D Printers and support by way of sharing technical expertise. Last April 29 to May 10, 2017 the College Dean CJ C. Ranido and Mr. Milo S. Cagandahan, CS Faculty/Web Administrator visited some Universities in Rotterdam, Delft and Haarlem in The Netherlands. With the inputs from the Senior Experts and with the strong support of the CU Administration, the collaboration and the efforts of the College of Computer Studies resulted in the launching of the CU-ICT Innovation Lab last Monday, February 18, 2019 just in time for the 4th visit of Mr. Ben Scheltens in the University. The CU-ICT Innovation Lab will serve as an avenue for the development of IT skills and talents among individuals, students and professionals who possess the necessary competence and Character and are Committed to building a Culture of Care. Marking another opportunity for learning experiences for the Dean, the faculty, and the all computer studies students of the University. The results of this collaboration will definitely have a huge impact on ICT innovation and development in the City of Cagayan de Oro.
