College of Engineering
Engineering is the profession in which knowledge of the Mathematical and natural sciences gained by study, experience, and practice is applied with judgment to develop ways to utilize economically the materials and forces of nature for the benefit of mankind.
The College of Engineering is composed of three programs; namely, B.S. Civil Engineering (BSCE), B.S. Electronics Engineering (BSECE) and B.S. Mechanical Engineering (BSME). Aside from the general education and professional courses, the Civil Engineering program has technical electives in Earthquake Engineering, Irrigation, Flood Control and Drainage Engineering, Construction Cost Engineering and Geosynthetics in Geotechnical Engineering; Also the Electronics Engineering program has network engineering as their technical elective. While the Mechanical Engineering has the technical electives in industrial Automation and Control, Automotive Engineering, Solar Energy and Wind Energy Utilization and Alternative Energy Resources.
