CAPITOL UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES have to fulfill many roles. It aims to meet the increasingly diverse needs of users, while remaining repositories of knowledge and culture. Because of their rich and varied content, Cu Library has always had great potential to inspire and surprise all users. They are a gateway to wisdom found on the shelves, accessed through the net, or via the media.

Capitol University Library is special and significant for it has great potentials to inspire and surprise all Users ; it is a symbol of human progress and continues to empower individuals and communities by offering access to information, knowledge and education.

  Institucional Objectives

Integral to the attainment of its mission, Capitol University commits itself to:

 1.    Provide quality education that responds to the challenge of producing

globally competitive graduates;

 2.    Provide academic programs for students that would enrich their educational

  experience;

 

3.  Strengthen and perpetuate the institutional culture of research;

4.    Empower the students to apply their knowledge and skills in serving others

through a vigorous community extension program;

 5.    Promote the best uses of Information Technology in aid of instruction,

research and community extension program;

 6.    Inculcate values, virtues, and develop an expanded sense of culture and

appreciation for the arts among the student body;

7.    Instill the culture of peace as an avenue for promoting harmony and

       Since its inception in 1971, the CAPITOL UNIVERSITY LIBRARY has been providing vital support to the instruction, research, curricular and academic programs of the institution.
