What’s new at CUBED for SY 2012-2013?

1. More directed objectives for the learners as found in the new

Student Handbook (2012 edition):

  • a self-directed learner who takes responsibility for ones’ own learning, who questions, reflects and perseveres in the pursuit of learning;
  • a confident person who has a strong sense of right and wrong, is adaptable and resilient, knows oneself, is discerning in judgment, thinks independently and critically, and communicates effectively;
  • an active contributor who is able to work effectively in teams, exercises initiative, takes calculated risks, is innovative and strives for excellence; and,
  • a concerned citizen who is a proud to be a Filipino, has a strong civic consciousness, is informed, and takes an active role in improving the lives of others.

2. K-12 curriculum for Grades I and VII

3. FAPE certified High School. FAPE certification is done to upgrade the quality of standards towards accreditation status.

4. More responsive organizational set-up to address needs of learners and teachers.  This year there is a Vice Principal to oversee the programs in the Grade School and High School assisted by cluster coordinators.

5. Since play time is crucial to the physical, social and cognitive development of children, there is a new set of playground specifically for the pre-school children.
