The Capitol University Basic Education Department (CUBED) held the month-long celebration of Nutrition Month last July of this year with the theme “Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain.”

Pupils and students from elementary and high school department participated in various competition: poem  writing, table setting, nutri-quiz bee, poster making writing contest, and essay writing contest, and musical jingle.

The celebration encouraged the students to make vegetables part of their everyday diet in order to prevent micronutrient deficiencies and non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes

The celebration was organized by the TLE teachers and the students club.

 Buwan ng Wika 2012

The Capitol University Basic Education Department (CUBED) celebrated the Buwan ng  ng Pagka-Pilipino.

Students from the preschool, elementary, and high school level showcased their talents and skills in the following events: Larong Lahi, Pagtula, Patimpalak sa Pagsulat at Pag-awit ng sariling komposisyon sa diyalektong Pilipino,Patimpalak sa Pag-awit ng Kundiman at Awiting Bayan at Patimpalak sa Pagbabalita.

Seminar on the history of Filipino language was conducted at the covered court for the High School Students.

Mr. Bonifacio N. Gegato, a high school Filipino Teacher, chaired the month-long celebration.

Winners were awarded on the culminating day.

Second year students performed theircomposed song during the elimination roundof the Patimpalak sa Pagsulat at Pag-awit ng Sariling Komposisyon sa diyalektong Pilipino.
