College of Education Faculty Presented Paper in Bangkok, Thailand

Prof. Ryan Glenn C. Narvasa, an Assistant Professor of CU College of Education, presented his paper entitled” Probing ICT Competency of Student-Teachers in Northern Mindanao, Philippines: Basis for ICT Softskills Input Development” in AETAS Lumpini, Bangkok, Thailand during the 12th Annual Education and Development Conference on March 5-7,2017. His trip was sponsored by the CU Administration and the Private Education Assistance Committee.

THE FILIPINO DEPARTMENT

Dr. Rańoa, Camilo the Chairperson of the Filipino Department of the College of Education with the Graduate School 2nd year students taking up Master of Arts in Filipino (MAFIL) serve as the emcee and facilitator of the 45th National Convention of Filipino Teachers with the theme: Lakas ng Filipino sa Edukasyong Pangwika para sa higit na Pagpapaunlad ng K to 12 Kurikulum. This convention was hosted by Pambansang Samahan ng mga Tagamasid at Tagapagtaguyod sa Filipino (PASATAF) last April 19-22, 2017 in Teachers Camp, Baguio City, Philippines.

Dr. Rańoa was also a recipient of “Gawad Tanglaw” of the 45th National Convention of Filipino Teachers with the theme: “Lakas ng Filipino sa Edukasyong Pangwika Para sa Higit na Pagpapaunlad ng K to 12 Kurikulum”. This convention was hosted by Pambansang Samahan ng mga Tagamasid at Tagapagtaguyod sa Filipino (PASATAF) last April 22, 2017 in Benitez Hall, Teachers Camp, Baguio City, Philippines.
