Committed to the task of helping the nation meet its health needs, Capitol University seeks to produce fully functional nurses prepared to render health care services in any health care setting.

Training of students in College is not only confined within the school campus but they are also exposed to other hospitals for more exposures and experiences in specialized areas such as the Philippine Orthopedic Center, San Lazaro Hospital, National Center for Mental Health, and Northern Mindanao Medical Center. Its base hospital is its own Capitol University General Hospital Foundation, Inc..

The College of Nursing has been consistent in its passing percentage in the Licensure Board Examinations. It had also produced topnotchers in the Nursing Licensure Examination. Many of our graduates are currently employed in the United States of America, Middle East, Europe and other Asian countries. The faculty is composed of committed licensed Nurses, Medical Doctors, M.A. degree holders and a number who are pursuing a doctorate degree. These faculty members are supervised by a Master of Arts in Nursing full-time Dean.

General Objectives:

The College of Nursing, subscribing to national concerns and institutional objectives, commits itself to produce a fully functioning nurse prepared to render health care services to the clientele in any social and cultural setting, ready to assume responsibility for one’s professional growth.

Specific Objectives:

After completion of the four-year Bachelor of Nursing course, the College aims to produce a nurse who:

  1. Possesses scientific and technical competencies in the delivery of health care services.
  2. Possesses a compassionate and committed praxis of health care towards clientele.
  3. Demonstrates the capacity for creative and critical thinking in decisions that affect the client’s care.
  4. Applies ethico-moral-legal responsibilities in the protection of life.
  5. Assumes responsibilities for one’s personal and professional growth.
  6. Commits to serve with primacy the health care needs of the Filipino people.

Special Objectives:

The College of Nursing further aims to:

  1. Establish linkages with health care agencies and institutions for employment opportunities.
  2. Monitor the quality of employment of its graduates where feasible.
