College of Criminology Conducts Literacy Webinar on Rape and Trafficking in Persons

As part of the CU Knowledge Festival, the College of Criminology conducted a webinar-workshop to promote literacy on heinous crimes particularly Rape and Trafficking in Persons. Held last March 20 and 27, 2021, the webinar sought to spread awareness and knowledge on heinous sexual crimes such as rape and trafficking in persons which unfortunately is rampant and widespread in the Philippines. The webinar was open to the public and was well-attended with 103 participants from different schools and organizations.

As a result of the webinar, the College of Criminology will be launching Karunungan Tungo sa Karapatan ng mga Kababaihan Program (KKKP). The program aims to help women who need assistance and guidance. For more information on this program, you may contact the CU-College of Criminology.
