Capitol University extends her warmest congratulations to alumnus Dr. Jeffrey J.D. Andrion for being awarded the prestigious Centenary Medal of Distinction by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Dr. Andrion is a graduate of the BS in Physical Therapy program of Capitol University. He has a Master’s Degree in Critical Disability Studies and is now completing his PhD in Health at York University.

Dr. Andrion is now part of the faculty at the University of Toronto, as well as a physiotherapist at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is founder of the International Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation (ICDR) at the University of Toronto, which advances research and education in the rehabilitation sciences to help people with disabilities all over the world. He now serves as the Director of International Programs at Hope and Healing International, focusing on helping children with disabilities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

A trailblazer in the field of physiotherapy, Dr. Andrion has changed the lives of so many across the globe.
