CU College of Nursing Wins at the 10th International Conference for Nurses 2021

Capitol University College of Nursing participated in the 10th International Conference for Nurses (ICONS 10) held last November 26-27, 2021. The conference, organized by the College of Nursing of Cebu Normal University, was conducted with the theme “Responsive Connections & Collaboration for a ‘Better Normal’: Transforming Global Nursing research.”

The CU College of Nursing won several prestigious awards, including:

  1. Dr. Huemer O. Uy:
    1. 1st place in the Qualitative Studies (Professional Category) with his research study entitled, “Cross-Case Analysis and Thematic Synthesis on Filipino Adults with Filial Care Responsibilities.”
    1. 2nd place in the Qualitative Studies Strand (Professional Category) with his research study entitled, “Axiomatic Approach in Developing the Filial Care Theory.”
  2. Francis Lindley C. Wong: 2nd place in the Nursing & Technology Strand (Student Category) with his research study entitled, “Sources of Information and Compliance Behavior Concerning COVID-19 among Community-dwelling Filipinos.”
